To conduct a precise seasonal colour analysis, it is crucial to consider three factors: the temperature of your undertones, the value of your features, and the chroma of your hair, skin and eye colour.

The objective of color analysis is to highlight your innate beauty, rather than to draw attention solely to your attire. The intention is to have your eyes and smile stand out more than your clothes or your accessories. In essence, the emphasis is on you in the outfit, not the outfit itself.

Keep in mind that these characteristics aren't definitive criteria to identify your season. They should be seen as general traits that are common for this season. 

Therefore, don't worry if you don't look exactly like another person who is also a True Autumn!

The True Autumn colours are very warm.

The True Autumn palette reflects the colours you would see in nature at the peak of the autumn season, where the leaves are orange and yellow.

Looking at the overall palette you will notice there are no cool or icy colours.

As a True Autumn, these colours neither overpower nor drain you, they will work in harmony with you.  Therefore you can expect to look radiant naturally and effortlessly when wearing these colours!

As your undertone is very warm, you are in harmony with warm-toned metals including  Gold, brass, bronze and copper are the best metals to harmonise with your True Autumn undertones.

These colors are the direct opposite of your warm and rich coloring and may make you look dull instead of vibrant.

However, when it comes to finding the perfect accent colours for you, whether it is something different such as olive green or mustard, choose a True Autumn colour that makes you feel most confident. Make sure you feel like you at your best.

Out of all three of the autumn palettes, yours is the only season that has a medium contrast level, meaning you will suit colour combinations that are neither very subtle or very striking.

The good news is that all the colours you have in your palette can mix and match with each other, so when it comes to outfit building, True Autumns can expect easy and fast outfit building. 

When using these colour combinations, think head-to-toe with your outfit, not just the colours worn closest to your face. 

Whilst a cream and camel combination is considered a classic True Autumn combination, there are many options that will work for you.

As a True Autumn, your palette does not have the typical corporate colours, however, you can still dress in a formal fashion in a way that is appropriate for business settings.  

Rather than opting for black, white, or grey, choose camel, cream, or rich browns aternatives. You can add one of your favourite accent colours to your look with removable accessories (such as bags or scarves) to inject personality into your outfit.

If you’re looking for something slightly different, consider a deep brown coffee to help you stand out from a crowd that’s dressed in black.

It’s common for many clients of ours to initially find it difficult to tell the difference between True Autumn and True Spring colours when shopping. As both of these palettes are very warm in their colouring, it can take a little time to train your eye.

The most noticeable between the two is their vibrancy. True Spring colours are far brighter that True Autumn colours, so if the colour is vibrant, stay away. 

Instead, choose a colour that seems rich rather than bright.

Similarly, True Spring colours are lighter than True Autumn colours, so keep this in mind when shopping.
